Over a week ago I received two identical political mailings in a five day period. The mailer is printed on thick paper and is full color, extra long, and folded. On one side in large red print it says:
“Do you support tax CUTS for casino operators when YOUR taxes are going up?”
On the other side in large red print it says:
“Act Now to Stop the Maryland Tax Give-Away”
It says to contact Senator Pugh and tell her to vote against tax breaks for casino interests. I could not agree more. It is nice to see a campaign that appeals to those who are frustrated with the so-called 1% and encourages fiscal responsibility. The mailer says that this special interest casino tax break may be voted on during the second special session.
