The Baltimore Brew has been digging around in the new finance director’s past and it appears they have stumbled upon a resume controversy.
“A review of his resume indicates that he may have exaggerated his accomplishments before he went to work in Richmond.”
This does not sound like a great start. I also wonder about this quote from the Brew:
“The Blacks have since operated the company mostly from their suburban house on Apache Place in Richmond.”
Does he still live in Richmond? The company web site says it is based in DC. Does he live in DC then?
I really hope this guy can cut some government waste, but I also wonder why we needed to go to Virginia to find a new finance director. There have to be financially competent individuals living in Baltimore.
